♣ Balanced AF: 4 week series starts 5/5
Want to get a strong start and form healthy habits? Looking for ways to enrich your training outside of class? You need a ground plan! This mini-series is designed to help you get the most out of your aerial training by building a solid foundation for movement on the ground. We will focus on methods for improving body awareness, building strength, increasing range of motion, and preventing injury. We will use simple tools and accessible exercises to create connections in our minds and bodies. Each week we will target a specific area and homework will be given to help maximize your benefit. No pre-requisites. This series is intended for beginners and anyone who wants to improve their quality and ease of movement or enhance their injury prevention plan. Materials/Supplies: All necessary materials will be provided. Additionally, students may wish to bring a pen, notebook, and a folder to store handouts.
